Allyson Felix

Allyson Michael Felix was the Los Angeles native born on the 18th November 1985. Paul Felix served as an ordained minister in Sun Valley at Master's Seminary. Marlean Felix taught at Balboa Magnet. Felix discovered early that she was gifted in running while attending Los Angeles Baptist High School. She finished second in the U.S. Indoor Track and Field Championships after only 10 weeks following her first attempt. Felix was a high school graduate when she graduated from school in 2003 signed the sports contract with Adidas. Then she attended an institution called the University of Southern California and studied elementary education. One year later Felix earned her first Olympic medal during the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens Greece making a junior world record by taking 200 metres within 22.18 seconds. In 2005, the Helsinki World Championships saw her becoming the youngest female to take home the 200 meters race. She defended this title and beat her Jamaican competitor Veronica Campbell. Felix competed at the Olympics at Beijing London Rio de Janeiro as well as Tokyo always finishing in the top three in all her competitions.
