Allyson Felix
Allyson Michael Felix a Los Angeles native born on the 18th of November, 1985. The father of the child, Paul Felix is an ordained Minister in the Master's Seminary, Sun Valley. As for her mother, Marlean Felix is a teacher at Balboa Magnet Primary School. Felix showed a flair in athletics from the beginning, and soon discovered her talent for sprinting when she attended the Los Angeles Baptist High School. Felix finished second in the U.S. Indoor Track and Field Championships in only 10 weeks, after the first time she tried out. Felix finished her high school education and was signed to an official contract to Adidas. In 2004 she began her studies at an institution called the University of Southern California, which is where she studied elementary education. Her first Olympic medal came during the 2004 Summer Olympics, in Athens Greece. Felix set an international junior record sprinting 200 meters in 22.18 secs. Felix became the world's youngest athlete to win the 200 meters at the Helsinki World Championships and defended her title again in 2007 beating long-time Jamaican opponent Veronica Campbell. Felix consistently placed within the top third of each event she competed in at Beijing London Rio de Janeiro Tokyo.
